Accessibility of the environment

     Both in Latvia and in the European Union, more and more attention is being paid to patients' rights, which also include issues of ensuring a "patient-friendly environment" . "A patient-friendly environment means the availability of both information and the environment, as well as a favorable socio-psychological climate in every medical institution - where everyone is welcomed and well cared for, whereeveryone has the opportunity to find andget to the right place in the institutions and both the patients and the medical staff feel good (from SUSTENTO materials).

     Kauguri Health Center (KVC) is a modern multi-profile medical institution, which main task is to provide professional health care, diagnosis and treatment of the population. It is important that everyone in Kauguri Health Center can receive excellent service and access.

    Wheelchair access  is via the ramp. There is access at the reception desk at a convenient level for wheelchair users. In addition, automatic doors have been installed, a large elevator has been built, and there is a disabled patients' toilet on each floor of the health center.

     KVC is located in Jūrmala, Raina Street 98a.
