In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, mandatory health examination (OVP) is performed for workers whose work is associated with a potential risk to other people's health (work in health institutions, food companies, etc.) or whose health is exposed to harmful work environment factors.
Depending on the nature of the work and possible harmful factors, the examination is performed by a primary care physician or an appropriate medical commission. An opinion on the employee's state of health is provided by a doctor certified in occupational diseases.
At Kauguri Health Center, OVP can be performed individually or on the basis of a contract concluded with the employer.
