X-ray
Rentgenology X-ray is a branch of medicine that involves various methods of obtaining medical images.
X-ray examinations are performed by highly qualified staff - technicians and, as well as specially trained radiologists (X-ray specialists).
X-ray visual diagnostic images are digital. Because this data is stored in Dicom-3 format, it is recognizable in any medical facility in the world that uses modern digital equipment, and examinations can be transmitted electronically to other medical facilities if needed, and all previous diagnostic tests are stored for a long time. Exams can be saved on external media (CD, DVD, etc.). All X-ray visual diagnostic images can be printed in a variety of sizes and formats - by combining different diagnostic diagnostic images on a single printout. Thanks to a special image browsing and processing program, wider image evaluation options are available - the image can be enlarged, reduced, contrasted, viewed in soft and hard tissue mode, and thus accurate measurements can be made.
The X-ray provides the following diagnostic services to patients:
- X-rays of the bones, joints, spine, including the cervical vertebrae, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, and the sacral part (tailbone);
- X-rays of the head, sinuses;
- dental X-ray;
- X-rays of the chest organs (lungs, heart);
- X-rays of the abdominal organs (stomach, intestinal tract, kidneys, etc.).
